Lincoln Property Company Donates More than 130 Boxes of Food to So Others Might Eat (SOME)

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Lincoln Property Company is pleased to announce that it has collected more than 130 boxes of canned and other non-perishable foods for So Others Might Eat (SOME).  Lincoln Property employees and building tenants were responsible for the generous amount of donated food, which took extra volunteers to sort.

Last year, SOME provided 248,205 meals for hungry children, women, and men the Washington, D.C. area; 141,215 meals served via rehabilitative programs; 22,306 showers and sets of free clothing for homeless men and women; housing, meals and services for 29 abused and neglected elderly persons;  medical and dental services for 2,051 homeless and low income individuals; individual and group counseling, case management and continuing care for 1,550 adults; and five affordable apartment buildings with supportive services for 80 formerly homeless families with 196 children.
