Books for local schools

(March 25, 2016) Washington, D.C. — Lincoln Property Company, a leading full service real estate services provider in the U.S., has conducted another successful book drive among the properties that they manage, to collect books for children in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This is the 16th year that Lincoln Property Company and building tenants have generously donated a large volume of books, music and movies to this cause.

Volunteers from Lincoln Property spent an afternoon sorting and assembling the donated supplies into 210 boxes, totaling over 4,000 books which were then donated Carpe Librum Bookstore of which proceeds benefit Turning the Page, a local non-profit organization that provides programs that support D.C. public schools, as well as Books for America, also benefiting local schools.

Lincoln Property Company’s Property Management services spearheaded this effort.  “We’re thrilled that all our offices joined together and participated in helping make impact to children in our area with educational needs,” commented Brandon Ernst, executive vice president of Lincoln Property Company, Washington, D.C. office.
