Lincoln Property Company has conducted another successful Back To School drive to collect much-needed school supplies for children in the Washington metropolitan area. This is the 12th year that Lincoln Property Company and building tenants have generously donated a large volume of school supplies ranging from pencils, scissors, notebooks and glue-sticks to backpacks and garbage cans.
Volunteers from Lincoln Property and their children spent a morning sorting and assembling the donated supplies into 74 boxes which have been delivered to the schools.
The schools receiving supplies include Concord Elementary School in Prince George’s County, MD; Forest Oak Middle School in Montgomery County, MD; Key Elementary School in Arlington, VA: Meade Middle School and Brock Bridge Elementary School, both of which serve military families in Anne Arundel County, MD; Moten Elementary School in Washington, D.C.; and Safe Shores, a Washington, D.C. children’s advocacy center which provides a safe environment for children who are witnesses to or victims of abuse.
