(March 27, 2017) Washington, D.C. — Lincoln Property Company, a leading full service real estate services provider in the U.S., has conducted another successful book drive among the properties that they manage, to collect books for children in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This is the 17th year that Lincoln Property Company and building tenants have generously donated a large volume of books, music and movies for this cause.
Volunteers from Lincoln Property spent an afternoon on March 21st sorting and assembling the donated supplies into 135 boxes, totaling close to 3,000 books which were then donated Carpe Librum Bookstore. Capre Librum’s proceeds benefit Turning the Page, a local non-profit organization that provides programs that support D.C. public schools.
Lincoln Property Company’s Property Management services spearheaded this effort. “We’re thrilled that all our offices joined together and participated in helping make impact to children in our area with educational needs,” commented Brandon Ernst, senior executive vice president of Lincoln Property Company, Washington, D.C. office.
