Lincoln Property Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Biberaj and Merrill Turnbull as co-managing directors of their Washington, D.C. Leasing Group. The team brings over 33 years of Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area leasing expertise to Lincoln and have been key leaders in much of the company’s brokerage growth in recent years. As co-managing directors, the pair will manage the leasing efforts of 5 million square feet in Washington, D.C.,representing multiple third-party landlords and numerous private sector tenants with their real estate requirements.
Merrill joined Lincoln in 1999 and previously lead the coordination and management of Lincoln’s Suburban Maryland leasing team and its 4.5 M square foot portfolio until he migrated to the D.C. leasing team in 2015. In his career at Lincoln, Merrill has completed over 10 million square feet in total lease transactions.
Adam has worked with Lincoln since 2006 and has completed over 3 million square feet of commercial real estate lease or sales transactions totaling over $1.6B in gross value. He has extensive experience in both landlord and tenant representation.
This appointment comes at the heels of the retirement announcement of John Marvin Jones, who served as Lincoln’s DC Leasing Managing Director since 2015 and had worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 35 years.
“John Marvin has led our DC leasing team since 2013, and we appreciate all of his hard work and the successes he has that he has brought to the company over the years,” said Ernst in a company-wide announcement. “We wish John Marvin all the best in retirement. He will be greatly missed.”
Brandon Ernst, Senior Executive Vice President of Lincoln’s Washington, D.C. region, knew Biberaj and Turnbull would be a great team to lead the D.C. leasing department.
