Colonial Place I, II and II Receive Energy Star Designation
Colonial Place is proud to announce its receipt of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Energy Star designation for all three of its buildings. Energy Star is the national symbol for protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency. The Energy Star designation was issued to Colonial Place in July 2011 for its continued commitment and achievement in energy efficiency and conservation.
The Energy Star program rates the energy performance of commercial buildings. Commercial buildings that earn the Energy Star designation use an average of 35% less energy than typical buildings and also release 35% less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Through the collective efforts of our tenants, our building ownership and our building management staff, Colonial Place continues our goal of being the best and most well maintained office property in Arlington, VA.
